Donn R. Seger, 71, Arlington, Va.

Donn R. Seger, 71, of Arlington, Va., formerly of Jasper, passed away on January 31, 2021, at home.  

Donn was born in Jasper on April 13, 1949, to Thomas W. and Mary M. (Gogel) Seger.   

He was a 1967 graduate of Jasper High School and received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematics from Indiana State University.  

Donn taught mathematics for Virginia Tech University.    

He enjoyed traveling, antiques, art, and spending time with relatives. 

He is survived by one brother; David Seger (Pat) of Jasper; two nieces, Natalie Deitsch (Mark) and Leslie Sutcliffe (Jeff), both of Westfield, Ind.; five great nieces and nephews.  

Preceding him in death were his parents.   

Entombment will be at Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  

Memorial contributions can be made to a favorite charity in his memory.
