Donald R. Petry, age 58, of St. Anthony, Indiana passed away at 5:48 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Donald was born in Huntingburg, IN on March 14, 1955 to Edward and Irene (Patton) Petry.

He had previously worked for Kimball Office Furniture 15th Street.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, birdwatching, and cooking.

He is survived by his mother, Irene Petry, of St. Anthony, IN; his companion of 19 years, Diana Uppencamp, of St. Anthony, IN; two daughters, Carrie Holmes and her husband Daniel, of Huntingburg, and Elizabeth Petry, of Killeen, TX; two sons, Denny Pauckner, of Dale, IN, and Brandon Petry, of Marlin, TX, ten grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Brown and her husband John, of Otwell, IN, and Linda Martindale, of Jasper, IN; five brothers, Michael Petry and his wife Daria, of St. Anthony, IN, Edward Petry and his wife Darlinda, of Winslow, IN, David Petry and his wife Tonya “Lynn”, of Birdseye, IN, Bill Petry, of St. Anthony, IN, and Keith Petry and wife Tammy, of Evansville, IN.

Preceding him in death is his father, Edward Petry, and a Granddaughter, Anna Pauckner.

Funeral services for Donald R. Petry will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, IN with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:00am until the 11:00am service time on Saturday at the church.
