Donald E. Reynolds, 81, Huntingburg
Donald E. Reynolds, 81, of Huntingburg, and formerly of Carmi, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in McLeansboro, Ill., on February 11, 1945, the son of Eugene and Rosie (Kirsch) Reynolds.
Don faithfully served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and was stationed at Fort Polk, La.
On March 7, 1975, Don married Donna M. Hall. Don retired in 2002 from the Illinois Department of Corrections at Vienna Correctional Center. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Huntingburg and a hobby farmer, raising sheep and cattle.
Don is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna; three children, Greg (Sindy) Harris of Gentryville, Brad (Lori) Reynolds of McLeansboro and Jody (John) Pazlar of St. Croix, Minn.; seven grandchildren, Gregory Harris, Amber Schnuck, McKenzie Chappo, Natalie Reynolds, Em Zellers, Zach Zellers and Rylee Zellers; two great-grandchildren, Elly Harris and Brook Harris; and a brother, Jim (Kay) Reynolds of Clay City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wilma Maple.
Graveside funeral services and burial for Donald E. Reynolds, 81, of Huntingburg, formerly of Carmi, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Big Prairie Cemetery in Carmi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Don’s memory to the American Cancer Society or Heart to Heart Hospice of Jasper and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821, which is assisting the family with arrangements.
