Diane Mae Wiseman, 70, Birdseye

Diane Mae Wiseman, 70, Birdseye, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at the Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tenn.

She was born January 4, 1946, in Huntingburg to Clayton Archie and Opal (Huff) Borden. She was united in marriage to Emmett W. Wiseman on October 24, 1964, at the Birdseye Christian Church in Birdseye.

Diane worked as a seamstress and retired from Touch of Class. She was a member of the Birdseye Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star Birdseye Chapter #590 and Birdseye Conservation Club.

Diane was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Emmett W. Wiseman, who died October 13, 2012; one sister, Connie Mason; and two brothers, Archie Borden and Jeff Borden.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Steven (Kelly G.) Wiseman of Birdseye and Ron (Shonna) Wiseman of Birdseye; nine siblings, Donald (Imogene) Borden of Huntingburg, Travis (Marilyn) Borden of Haysville, Joe (Donna) Borden of Birdseye, Jake (Sheila) Borden of Doolittle Mills, Cendia Letterman of Jasper, Wyoma (Raphael) Gehlhausen of Birdseye, Deb Ernst of Birdseye, Jan (Ronnie) Leech of Birdseye and Phyllis (Dan) Yates of Middleburg, Fla.; sister-in-law, Shirley Borden of Birdseye; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan Wiseman, Elliott Wiseman, Jordyn Wiseman and Jaron Wiseman; and one step-grandchild, Paige Borden.

Funeral services for Diane Mae Wiseman will be held at 10:00 a.m. EST on Friday, September 9, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye.

Pastor Ron Hickman will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.  An Order of the Eastern Star vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, at the funeral home.
