Deputies seeking truck in crash investigation

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a witness to a crash that occurred Wednesday.

Deputies are investigating a two-vehicle crash with injuries that occurred at Haysville Road West and U.S. 231 about three miles north of Jasper at 3:18 p.m.

Deputies are wanting to speak to the driver and passenger of a vehicle that was in the area. The vehicle stopped along the southbound lane of U.S. 231 near the intersection and then left southbound after the crash.

The vehicle was described as a white, crew cab Ford F-250 or F-350 work truck with blue lettering on the side with a company name. The truck had an Indiana plate and the two occupants were a man and a woman. The passenger had an orange work vest on and there were construction signs in the bed of the truck.
