Deputies seeking information on possible hit and run

The Dubois County Sheriff Department is asking for assistance from the public to locate a vehicle and its driver involved in a possible leaving the scene accident.

Around 5:52 p.m. Thursday, Sarah Jump, 23, of Cordova, Ma. was stopped on U.S. 231 just north of Old Road 45 attempting to turn her 2002 Hyundai left into a parking lot.

Sarah told police a small silver SUV driven by a female she described as being in her late teens to early twenties attempted to go around her vehicle on the passenger side. The SUV allegedly struck her vehicle and then continued northbound on U.S. 231 towards Haysville.
