Dennis W. Luchini, 70

Dennis W. Luchini, age 70, of Jasper, IN, passed away at 6:29 a.m. CDT, Friday, August 23, 2013 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Dennis was born on June 23, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lawrence and Marie (Rohne) Luchini . He married Linda Crane-Nichol on December 6, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dennis was employed by Houchens Industries in the Jasper Office as the Director of Operations/Sales Manager of Produce. Previously he was Director of Operations for Buehler Foods.

Spending time with his family meant the world to Dennis. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. Dennis was a friend and inspiration to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Surviving: Wife, Linda Luchini, Jasper, IN; one son, Dean Lawrence Luchini and spouse Jeanette, Haubstadt, IN; two daughters, Dana Ann Ayers and spouse Jeffrey, Lucerne, IN, and Jennifer Lynn Ping and spouse Tim, Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Amanda Sheets, Zachary Ayers, Anna Ayers, and Brandon Ping; one great-grandchild Madelyn Sheets; two brothers, Ed Thunehorst and spouse Kathy, Jasper, IN, and John Thunehorst, Missouri; three sisters, Marie Chester, East Peoria, IL, Lori Blunk and spouse Keith, East Peoria, IL, and Cheryl Vieyra and spouse Adolph, Vernal, UT.

Preceding Dennis in death was one brother, Larry Luchini, and one sister Corrine Burchell

Funeral services for Dennis Luchini will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday (August 28, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Enlow Cemetery in Jasper. Nephew of Dennis, Benjamin Cobb will officiate.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
