Deloris B. Miller, age 80, of Winslow, Indiana, passed away at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at her residence in Winslow.

She was born May 25, 1932 in Pike County, Indiana to Charlie and Lydia (Abotte) Lyden.

Deloris married Elmer L. Miller, Jr. on December 28, 1962 in Pike County and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Elmer L. Miller Jr., who passed away June 20, 2009; two brothers, Charles and John Lyden; and three sisters – Wilma Charles, Dorothy Haycraft and Bernice Ritter.

She is survived by:

Two daughters and two son-in-laws,

  • Lavalla (Dale) McAllister – Santa Claus, IN
  • Lucebra (Mike) Gamble – Winslow, IN

One brother,

  • James Lyden – Evansville, IN

by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Deloris B. Miller will be held at 1:00 p.m., (E.S.T.), on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday.
