Dolores T. Miller, 81
Dolores T. Miller, age 81, of Ireland, Indiana passed away at 7:25 p.m. on November 24, 2013 at home.
Delores was born on February 21, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Ella (Fehribach) Brames. She married Lawrence C. Miller Sr. on October 25, 1951 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, the St. Mary’s St. Ann’s Society, the Boone Township Homemaker’s Club, and a quilter for St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She was a recipient of the Diocese of Evansville Bruté Award.
She enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, sewing and quilting, especially for the Forest Park and Jasper High School Color Guards. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Miller Sr., of Jasper; two daughters, Mary Martin, and her husband, Ronald, of Evansville and Sharon James, and her husband, Ronald, of Jasper; five sons, Martin Miller of Greensburg, Ind., Eugene Miller, and his wife, Brenda, of Jasper, Tom Miller, and his wife, Denise, of Jasper, Alan Miller, Chicago, Ill., and Lawrence Miller Jr., Master Sergeant Air Force, and his wife, Jeanette, Palmer, Alaska; 15 grandchildren, Jennifer Wilkerson, Ann Robins, Lisa Miller, Amanda Dilger, Melissa Smith, Nathan Miller, Andrew Miller, Jason Miller, Leslie Hertle, Joseph Martin, Jerome Martin, Heather Miller, Trevon Miller, Kerrigan Miller, and Georgia Miller; three stepgrandchildren, Kristina Allen, Thomas James, and Amy Bakay; seven great grandchildren, Addison Dilger, Spencer Dilger, Tori Smith, Kaitlin Miller, Tenley Miller, Aidan Robins, Ronan Robins; nine stepgreat-grandchildren, Tiffany Miller, Brandon Miller, Michael Miller, Hannah James, Leah James, Elisha James, Xander Bakay, Paige Wilkerson, and Devon Wilkerson.
Preceding her in death are one daughter, Angela Geralyn Miller, one granddaughter, Lindsey Ann Miller, one step great-granddaughter, Ashley Miller, one sister, Marilyn Mehringer, and three brothers, Bernard, Donald, and David Brames.
Funeral services for Delores T. Miller will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center in Jasper.
