Delores J. “Dee” Blount, 78
Delores J. “Dee” Blount, age 78, of Selvin, Indiana, passed away at 4:52 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2012 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born November 2, 1934 at home near Pikeville, Indiana to Herschel and Edith (Hopper) Russell. Dee was united in marriage to James E. Blount on August 24, 1957. She worked at Southern Indiana Gas & Electric Company and then at Holland Dairy in the quality lab.
Dee volunteered her time as secretary/treasurer of Boy Scout Troop #177. She treasured the reunions and lunches held with her Winslow High School Class of 1952 classmates; and loved collecting eagles of all sorts.
She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Herschel “Junior” Russell, Jr. and Earl Russell.

Funeral services for Delores “Dee” Blount will be held at 11:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time (E.S.T.), on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Cup Creek Cemetery near Velpen in Pike County.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., (E.S.T.), on Tuesday.
