Deborah A. Quackenbush, 61, Lynnville

Deborah A. Quackenbush, 61, of Lynnville, passed away at 11:30 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2020, at her home.

She was born February 10, 1959, in Jasper, Indiana, to Ambrose “Snipe” and Elizabeth “Betty” (Brenner) Scherer. She married Jay Quackenbush on September 21, 2002. 

Deborah worked as a quality inspector at Best Home Furnishings in Ferdinand. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, flower gardening, landscaping, but most importantly, she enjoyed time with her grandchildren and family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jared and Jesse Siebe; and one sister, Sandra Uebelhor.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Jay Quackenbush of Lynnville; two stepdaughters, Amanda and Hannah Quackenbush, both of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Diana Nicholson of Jasper; one brother, David (Rhonda) Scherer of Jasper; two grandchildren and by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Deborah A. Quackenbush will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST Thursday, February 20, 2020, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow in Zoar Cemetery. Pastor Keith Chanley will officiate the service.

Friends may call for visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the day of the service.
