Debbie A. Durcholz, 57, of Jasper Indiana, passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.

Debbie was born in Jasper, Indiana on September 4, 1957 to Leland “Dutch” and Rose Anne (Henke) Durcholz.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, and their Ladies Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and a member of the Special Religious Education Development Program (SPRED).

She had worked for SIRS (Southern Indiana Resource Solutions) for several years and enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics.

She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan, and enjoyed bingo and writing letters.

She is survived by her mother, Rose Anne Durcholz of Jasper; five sisters, Brenda Sandoval, Kathy Pfister and her husband, Robert, Mary Mehringer and her husband, Alvin Jr., Julie Dominguez, and Amy Durcholz, all of Jasper; one brother, Steve Durcholz of Jasper; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her father, Leland “Dutch” Durcholz, and one niece Kelsey Mehringer.

Funeral services for Debbie Durcholz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at the church on Tuesday. The Ladies Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Holy Family will pray a rosary at 2:45 p.m. on Monday at the Funeral Home.
