Dearing departing Red Cross after 18 years of service
The American Red Cross announced on Wednesday that effective September 2, 2011, Tina Dearing; Service Center Manager for Dubois County will be leaving the organization.

Dearing has been instrumental in maintaining a strong community presence during her tenure including disaster relief & preparedness, CPR & First Aid training and Services to our Armed Forces. Dearing began her career with the American Red Cross in 1994 as a volunteer and remained a volunteer for 6 years before being appointed Service Center Manager in 2001.
Since her appointment, Tina has helped teach hundreds of classes and responded to dozens of disasters annually. A highlight of her career was serving local military families in their hour of need during two recent deployments of service members based out of the Jasper Armory.
“The Red Cross is an amazing organization that I will miss, but I look forward to sleeping after 18 years but want to thank the community for all the support they have shown me and the Red Cross during my tenure,” said Tina Dearing, Service Center Manager, Dubois County. “Dubois County is a great community and I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish together.”
