Deacon Frederick Bland, age 18 months, of Jasper, Indiana died at 2:14 p.m., Monday, May 27, 2013 in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

He was born on December 5, 2011 at Jasper, Indiana to Matthew N. and Amy L. (Smith) Bland.

He is survived by his parents – Matthew and Amy Bland of Jasper

A brother – Evan Bland of Jasper

Maternal grandparents – Rick and Diane Scanlon of Huntingburg

Paternal grandparents – Ken and Cathy Bland of Bel Air, MD

Great grandparents – Lois Galloway of Cincinnati, OH

And Mrs. Pat Forcht of Butler, PA

Funeral services for Deacon Bland will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2013. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg, Indiana. Bishop Glen Meservy will officiate the funeral services.

A public visitation will be held at the church on Friday, May 31st, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
