Update
AL.com is reporting that a man committed suicide on I-10 near Daphne Wednesday afternoon after sheriff’s deputies spotted a vehicle connected to the Odon homicide investigation.
According to authorities, deputies attempted to stop a truck in Loxley, Alabama that fit the description of vehicle involved in a homicide investigation in Daviess County. After the truck stopped, deputies ordered the man from the truck. It was then that the driver shot himself.
Authorities have reported that the truck is the one deputies in Daviess County were looking for in the homicide investigation but they have not confirmed if the man who committed suicide was the suspect described in the BOLO “be on the look out” issued.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s office is working with Indiana authorities to aid in the investigation.
