David Thomas, 56

David Thomas, 56, of Santa Claus, died, Friday, October 31, at 11:30 pm at Saint Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

David was born March 30, 1958 in Huntingburg to John and Shirley (Buechler) Thomas.

David was a mechanic. He enjoyed playing cards, socializing with friends and was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church.

David is survived by a brother, Martin Thomas and wife Janet of Ferdinand; one niece and one nephew.

David was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers and a sister all in infancy.

A memorial service will be Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. CDT at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. CDT until time of service at Becher Funeral Home.
