David Scott Featherston, 61, Winslow

David Scott Featherston, 61, of Winslow, peacefully passed away at his home on October 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

David was born on June 9, 1964, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Robert and Barbara Featherston.

David had many loves and hobbies in his life that included fishing, playing the guitar, mushroom hunting, muscle cars, train sets, and auctions.

The one thing that David loved the most in his life was his family; he was a family man and loved spending time with all his family. David will be deeply missed in the hearts of his loving family.

He is survived by his daughter, Krystal (Justin) Morgan; his grandchildren, Makenna Gossage, Chelsey and Brad Morgan, Zach Stewert; his siblings, Gary (Darla) Featherston, Kellie (Pat) Blume, Deeanna (John) Morton and Bobby (Tawnya) Featherston; his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Barbara Featherston.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel. A service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, Indiana. Pastor Jerry Blackwell will be officiating.
