David Ray Roach, 63, Jasper
David Ray Roach, 63, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 1:02 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at I.U. Methodists Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born at Seymour, Ind., on August 9, 1956, to Erwin and Dolores (McGary) Roach. He married Carol Stemle on June 18, 1976 in St. Joseph Chapel in Jasper.
David was a graduate of Jasper High School where he played football and was on the wrestling team. David was an avid golfer and active in Boy Scouts. David worked for Telephone Company for 35 years retiring from Frontier Communication in 2012. He worked in the pro golf shop at Ruxer Golf in Jasper for the past five years.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Roach; one daughter, Renae Roberts (Dustin) of Penang, Malaysia; two grandchildren, Gabrel and Marshall; mother, Dolores Roach of Jasper; one sister, Belinda Carter (Jeff) of Dimondale, Mich.; one brother, John Roach (Nancy) of Jasper.
Preceding him in death is his father Erwin Leroy Roach; one niece Rachael Nicole Roach.
Funeral services for David Roach will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019, in the Jasper Church of the Nazarene with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Rev Darrell Wineinger and Rev. Michael Suits will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
