David L. Fromme, 69, Portage

David L. Fromme, 69, of Portage, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018, at his home.

David was born September 14, 1948, in Jasper to Thomas and Roselena Fromme.

He owned and managed a dental laboratory prior to his retirement. He was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Parish and the Knights of Columbus. David enjoyed building models, painting, drawing and fishing.

David is survived by his son, Bryce Fromme of Portage; his mother, Roselena Fromme of Jasper; his brother, Daniel (Cheryl) Fromme of Jasper; three sisters, Charmaine (Rick) Schultheis of Indianapolis, Camille Corbin of Indianapolis and Carla (Bob) Moynahan of Jasper; his brother-in-law Stan Leinenbach of Velpen; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Fromme; and his sister, Claudette Leinenbach.

Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m., with a 5:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus Rosary Service on Thursday at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are preferred to David’s family.
