David L. Daunhauer, 76

David L. Daunhauer, 76, of Ferdinand, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

He was born October 27,938 in Ferdinand to Walter & Leonilla (Lindauer) Daunhauer. He married Marie S. Krampe on September 20,958 in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church.

He retired from Wilmes Window in Ferdinand after 53 years. He was an avid collector of antiques, and Native American artifacts. He was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the cabin by the lake.He was a former member of the Indiana National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Marie S. Krampe Daunhauer; two daughters, Jenifer L. Daunhauer Voegerl and husband Kevin and Stephanie Daunhauer Hentrup, both of Ferdinand; two sons, Dean Daunhauer and wife Jennifer of Ferdinand and Troy Daunhauer of Fishers; six grandchildren, Evan and Collin Daunhauer, Chelsea and Sierra Voegerl, and Rachel and Shannon Hentrup.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Shane Voegerl; and his parents.

Funeral services were held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
