David Hauser, 53

of Maltersville, Indiana passed away at 8:00 a.m. Thursday (December 22, 2011) at his home in Jasper.
He was born in Jasper, Indiana August 26, 1958 to Simon and Mildred Lane) Hauser. He married Cheryl Hoffman on October 15, 1983 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana.
He was working for Hopf Outdoor Power in Jasper and farmed the Hauser Farm (Family Farm since 1874) in the Maltersville area .
David was a member of Jasper High School Class of 1977 and a graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, Tennessee.
He is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Jasper High School Football Booster Club.
David enjoyed working with antique tractors and participated in tractor pulling contests as well as collecting farm toys.

Also 11 nieces and nephews
Preceding him in death are two brothers, Chester and Gayelord Hauser.
Funeral services for David Hauser will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (December 27, 2011) in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville, Indiana. The Rev. Charla Grieves will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday (December 26, 2011) at the Becher -Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or to the Dubois County Humane Society.
