David C. Fleck, 62, Huntingburg

David C. Fleck, 62, Huntingburg, formerly of North Carolina and Virginia, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016, at his home.

He was born May 31, 1954, in Jasper to Leonard and Elizabeth (Pund) Fleck.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator in mining and road construction.  David was an avid NASCAR and sports fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by seven siblings, Wilfred (Mary) Fleck of Huntingburg, Kathy (Herb) Haas of Jasper, Thomas “Digger” (Marilyn) Fleck of Huntingburg, John (Bernita) Fleck of Ferdinand, Richard (Jacque) Fleck of Hickory, N.C., Eileen (Ernie) Hochgesang of St. Henry and Glenda (Jim) Bolin of Huntingburg.

The family will hold a private ceremony. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements. There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
