David A. Singer, 76

David A. Singer, age 76, of Jasper, Indiana, died at 9:40 a.m. (E.D.T.), Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.
He was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on October 26, 1935 to Gilmore and Pearl (Cato) Singer. He married Anna M. Vogler in January of 1959 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper. Mr. Singer served in the United States Army from 1955-1957. He retired after a 35-year career with Kimball International. His interests included hunting and researching genealogy. He was preceded in death by: one daughter, Pamela Elliott; his parents, Gilmore and Pearl Singer; and one half-brother, Don Blessinger.

by (6) grandsons, (2) step grandchildren and (4) step great grandchildren.
Graveside services for David A. Singer will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Rev. John Boeglin will officiate the service and the public is invited to attend at the gravesite. The V.F.W. Post 2366 Memorial Detail will conduct military graveside rites.
Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
