Daniel “Mack” Miller, 84

Daniel “Mack” Miller, age 84, of Jasper, Indiana (formerly of Huntingburg, Indiana) died at 10:12 a.m., Monday, January 9, 2012 at the St. Charles Health Campus, Jasper, IN.
He was born on February 16, 1927 in Pike County, Indiana to Henry and Myrtle (Jones) Miller. He was retired as a foreman for DMI Furniture. He was a member of the VFW Post 2366 and the Jasper Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed fishing, walking his dog, Casey, boating, camping, playing cards and pool.
Four brothers, William (Bill), Clarence, Jack, and Gary Miller; two infant sisters, Peggy and Dorothy Miller, and a grandson, Aaron Klem; preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Martha Buchta on October 27, 1956 , at the Jasper Presbyterian Church.

And seven (7) Grandchildren, seven (7) Step-grandchildren, and six (6) great Grandchildren.
Funeral services for Daniel “Mack” Miller will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., Friday, January 13, 2012, at the Jasper Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Velpen, Indiana. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the V.F.W. Veteran’s Memorial Detail. The Rev. Larry Langer will officiate the funeral services. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of his wife.
Friends may call for visitation with the family from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Thursday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, and one hour prior to service time at the church.
