Daniel Jay Tuley, 75, Dale

Daniel Jay Tuley, 75, of Dale, passed away at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Willowdale Village in Dale.

He was born June 19, 1948, in Huntingburg, to Carl H. and Carmen (Woolsey) Tuley.

He married Mary Sue Smith on June 22, 1967, in Cannelton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Sue Tuley, who died November 17, 2022; and one daughter, Melissa Tuley.

He is survived by three children, Daniel “Ryan” (Heather) Tuley of Dale, Carla (Esteban) Chiriboga of Madison, Wisc., and Jason Tuley of Dale; three siblings, Anita (Terry) Hunt of Dale, Samuel (Barbara) Tuley of Richland and Randall (Debbie) Tuley of Boonville; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Camryn, Liam and Sophie.

Funeral services for Daniel Tuley will be held at 1:00 p.m. EDT (12:00 p.m. CDT) on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church in Huntingburg.  Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.  Pastor Rick Ballard will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EDT (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CDT) on Wednesday, at the church before the funeral.
