Daniel J. (Danno) Arvin, 60

Daniel J. (Danno) Arvin, 60, of Loogootee, passed away, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington.

He was born August 31, 1954 to the late John B. and Virginia R. (Madden) Arvin.

Daniel was a 1972 graduate of Loogootee High School. He enjoyed collecting coins, all sports and taking walks. His greatest pride and joy was family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Jason (Tina) Arvin-Wathen of Loogootee and Jacob Arvin-Wathen of Shoals; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Macy and Ruger Wathen all of Loogootee; brothers, Patrick Arvin of Loogootee and David Arvin of Bloomington; sisters, Judy (Steve) Pennington of Bloomington, Nancy Dant of  Loogootee, Linda (Jim) Nolan of Loogootee, and Marlene (John) Bush of Shelbyville; many nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry and Tony Arvin; brother-in-law, John Dant.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 at St. Martin Catholic Church in Loogootee, officiated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana.

Contributions may be made St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for masses.
