Daniel E. Freyberger, 84, Dubois
Daniel E. Freyberger, 84, of Dubois, passed away at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper surrounded by his family.

Daniel was born on January 15, 1935, in Dubois, Indiana to Daniel Sr. and Esther (Neukam) Freyberger. He married Mary Blackgrave on December 7, 1968, in St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads.
He served in the Indiana Army National Guard for eight years. He worked the family farm and also for DIA in Jasper for over 30 years. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads and the White River Valley Antique Association. He enjoyed spending time with his Farmall Tractors, going to tractor shows, and fiddle music.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Freyberger of Dubois; three daughters, Denise Reuber (Jeff) of Dubois, Christie Pace (Steve) of St. Anthony and Amy Freyberger (Melinda) of Madison; he was a loving stepfather to David Rottet of Winslow, Steven Rottet of Haysville, Alice Hildenbrand of Huntingburg, and Doug Rottet (Jane) of Huntingburg; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 19 step-grandchildren, and many step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Wiggins (Larry) of Fordsville, Ky.

Funeral services for Daniel E. Freyberger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 1,
A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
