Damian “Moe” Rasche, 74

Damian “Moe” Rasche, age 74 of Sellersburg, Indiana and formerly of Jasper passed away at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born November 6, 1938 in Jasper to John and Rosella (Giesler) Rasche. He married Karen Freyberger April 19, 1969 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Damian retired from Kimball International where he had worked for 35 years.

He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the American Legion Post # 204 at Sellersburg, Indiana.

His hobbies were camping, gardening and spending time with his granddaughters.

Son, Marty Rasche , Clarksville, IN

Two granddaughters, Kesha and Erika.

Sister, Mrs. Bill (Norma) Medley, Springfield, KY

Preceding him in death is one brother Charles Rasche.

Funeral services for Moe Rasche will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday (November 19, 2012) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper will conduct military grave side rites.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday (November 18, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
