Daisy Irene Goodman, 90

Daisy Irene Goodman, 90, of Jasper, passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

Daisy was born in Warrick County, Indiana on April 4, 1925 to George and Rosie (Stephens) James. She married Donald Goodman on February 1, 1943 at St. Louis, Missouri . He preceded her in death on June 22, 2007.

Daisy was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of Wickliffe United Methodist Church. She was Volunteer of the Month at Memorial Hospital for her work crocheting caps for the newborn babies, and she mended clothes for Precious Rewards in Petersburg.

She is survived by two daughters, Eva McCune and her husband Victor of Jasper and Shirley S. Segert of Petersburg; two sons, Robert C. “Bob” Goodman and his wife Debbie of Huntingburg and John W. Goodman of Jasper; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are two daughters, Georgia Faye and Rosemary L. Montgomery; one son, Donald Goodman; one sister, Ethel Harris; and two brothers, John and George James.

Funeral services for Daisy Irene Goodman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Wickliffe Cemetery in Wickliffe, Indiana. Rev. Joe Hollen and Rev. Janet Dixon will both officiate.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
