D. Michael “Mikey” Eble, 68, Midwest City, Ok.

D. Michael “Mikey” Eble, 68, Midwest City, Oklahoma, formerly of Jasper, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at OU Medical Center.

Michael was born in on August 16, 1950, in Huntingburg to Raymond H. and Margaret W (Fischer) Eble.

He enjoyed outdoor recreational activities, spending time with his family and his job of 31 years as a diesel mechanic for Farrington Towing and Recovery.

Michael is survived by his spouse of 31 years, Phillis K (Smith); three daughters, Carlysa Jackson, Jamie (Ron) Fromme and Katrina (Mark) Seitz; one son, David (Brandie) Eble; 12 grandchildren; two grand-puppies; four and a half great-grandchildren; four brothers, James (Wanda), Robert (Sharon), Kenneth (Myra) and William (Bonnie); sister-in-law, Kay; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Judith; and a brother, Karl.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Jasper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to Folds of Honor (www.foldsofhonor.org/donate) or Track Chairs (www.independencefund.org) for their mobility program.
