Cyril H. Theising, 84

Cyril H. Theising, 84, of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014, at home.

Cyril was born on April 3, 1930 in Dubois, Indiana to Frank and Katie (Pieper) Theising. He married Sarah Vonderheide on September 1st, 1956 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.

Cyril was a lifelong farmer in the Dubois area and was an Army veteran. He was a member of St. Raphaels Catholic Church in Dubois, IN, and VFW Post #673 in Jasper. He enjoyed dancing, listening to county music, fishing, gardening, and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Theising of Dubois; one daughter, Audrey Theising and her companion Wes Roeder, of Dubois; one son, Daryl Theising of Dubois; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were four brothers; Greg, Maurice, Gabriel, and Franklin Theising.

Funeral services for Cyril Theising will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois, IN with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.
