Holland woman killed in crash

Indiana State Police officers are investigating a crash that killed a Holland woman Monday afternoon.

According to State Police, Mary Buse, 86 of Holland, was traveling south on State Road 161 when she crossed into the path of a northbound semi-tractor driven by Robert Lifford, 54, of Switzerland City while attempting to merge eastbound onto County Road 1200 South.

Buse was pronounced deceased by the Dubois County Coroners Office.

All family notifications have been made.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor.

The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Dubois County Sheriffs Department.
