County marching bands perform well at Jasper Invitational

All four Dubois County marching bands earned gold in their performances at the ISSMA Scholastic Prelims and Open Class Invitational held at Brewer Stadium on Saturday.

The Forest Park Marching Rangers were awarded a Gold rating in Open Class D, with distinction in music, visual, and effect for their presentation of several jazz classics titled “One Night Only.”

Southridge Marching Raiders’ “Reign of Madness” performance received a Gold in Open Class C with distinction in music, visual, and general effect.

Northeast Dubois Marching Jeeps took Gold in Scholastic Class B, earning a distinction in Music and Visual for their performance “Mechanized”.

Jasper earned a Gold in Open Class B with their performance, “Hope Unbound”, with distinction in visuals, music and effect.
