Costaki Economopoulos, the biggest name in comedy, returns to the Astra

Comedian Costaki Economopoulos will bring his smart, insightful, socially relevant, and gut-laugh-funny comedy routine, presented by WRZR 94.5, to the historic Astra Theatre in Jasper on Friday, December 12. Doors for this performance will open at 7:30 p.m. with the comedy set to begin at 8:00 p.m.

Twenty-year comedy veteran Costaki Economopoulos has been described as a “casually brilliant joke philosopher” by a fellow comedian. His light swagger, playful squint, and wry smile alert you to identify if perhaps there’s more to Costaki’s multi-layered jokes on topics ranging from parenting and football to pirates and rice cakes.

In addition to performing, Costaki has formulated material for The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, Best Damn Sports Show Period, and Bette Midler’s Kiss My Brass Tour, in addition to other writing accolades.

However, Costaki is easily best known for regular segments on the syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show, which have spun off into “Quick Snaps” finding a weekly home on Sirius XM Satellite Radio during the NFL season.
