Corporations plan Holiday World “buy outs”

SANTA CLAUS, IND—–A series of corporate “buy-outs” will close Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari to the public for three days over the next two weekends.

“On Saturday, September 10, we will be closed to the public as we host a private event for several companies and their families,” says Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari General Manager Matt Eckert. “On September 11, Kimball International’s employees and families will be here and Sunday, September 18, Toyota will buy-out the parks. On these three days in September, our parks will be closed to the public.”

Eckert estimates more than 24,000 employees and family members from the various companies will visit the parks over the three days of buy-outs in September.

Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari will be open to the public on Saturday, September 17, after which the water park will close for the season. Holiday World will then be open weekends September 24 through October 9. For more information, visit the parks’ website at HolidayWorld.com or call 1-877-463-2645.
