Cornhole Tournament of Champions results
Louis Duvall and Hayden Duvall “Super Man and Boy Wonder” Win the Ferdinand Heimatfest WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champions
The second stop of the 2018 WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champions was held at Ferdinand’s twenty-seventh annual Heimatfest on Friday, June 15th. Louis Duvall and Hayden Duvall, who call themselves the “Super Man and Boy Wonder”, shined in the double-elimination pro-division rounds of the cornhole match by grabbing a first-place finish.
Louis and Hayden moved to the championship round after defeating the “Bounty Hunters” in the finals. The team of Louis and Hayden will now move on to the WBDC Tournament of Champions at the Huntingburg Herbstfest on Saturday, September 22nd.
The WBDC Cornhole Tournament also includes an amateur division for all ages at each site. A winner was announced for the WBDC Cornhole Tournament Amateur Division with six entries. Our winners for the amateur division are the team of “Lancaster” with its members being, Logan Jones, and Skyler Siebert from Mt.Carmel.
The next stop of the 2018 WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champions will be held on Saturday, June 30, at the Celestine 175th StreetFest. Registration will start at 2:00 pm Eastern Time and throwing will begin at 3:00 pm Eastern time. WBDC is taking pre-registrations now by calling (812) 634-9232 or online at WBDC.us.
All pro team members must be at least eighteen years of age; the cost is $10.00 per pro team on pre-registration. The Amateur Division is open to all ages and no pre-registration is needed. Following the festival tournaments, WBDC will crown their 2018 WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champion with a double-elimination tournament from the fourteen teams with the most points or who have succeeded in winning throughout the cornhole season.
