Cordella M. Klem, 85
Cordella M. Klem, age 85, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 2:05 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born November 9, 1927 in Ireland, Indiana to Gerhard and Helen (Haas) Hackman.
She was united in marriage to Raymond B. Klem on October 4, 1947.
Cordella was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, gardening, playing solitaire and quilting with her friends at St. Mary’s. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.
Cordella is survived by her canine and feline companions – Misty and Suzie. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Raymond B. Klem, who died May 5, 1997; one brother, Cletus Hackman; and one sister, Dorethea grant.

By ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Cordella Klem will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Friday, June 14, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday. A parish rosary prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon, at the funeral home. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.nassandson.com.
