Cora Mae Beaty, 82, French Lick

Cora Mae Beaty, 82, of French Lick, passed away on January 18, 2023, at Springs Valley Meadows.

She was born in Hendricks County, Ind., on May 30, 1940, to Alva Bennett and Grace (Haga) Stroud.

Cora Mae married Marvin “Pee Wee” Beaty on August 26, 1955, and he preceded her in death on October 31, 2006.

She is survived by son, Ronnie Beaty of French Lick; daughter, Julia Ann Bartlett (Jerry) of West Baden; sisters, Nancy Beaty of Mitchell, Helen Terry of French Lick and Carol Kern of Jasper; half-sisters, Teresa Fitzpatrick of Ardmore, Okla. and Judy Copeland of Campbellsburg, Ind.; stepsisters, Lolita Stroud of Akron, Ind. and Mona Hammond of French Lick; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Springs Valley Wesleyan Church with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
