Community Foundation supporting Ferdinand mural

The Community Foundation is supporting the creation of a new mural in Ferdinand with a $25,000 grant to Traditional Arts Today.

Bloomington artist Adam Long was commissioned to create a historical mural celebrating the people, landmarks and innovations that have shaped the community.

The 25-foot-tall by 75-foot-wide mural is taking shape on the brick exterior of the historic Fleig’s Café in the heart of Ferdinand.

The mural will serve as a tribute to Ferdinand’s heritage, telling the community’s unique story while creating a new landmark for residents and visitors alike.

This grant was made possible through support from The Fund for Dubois County ($23,000) and the Ferdinand Community Endowment ($2,000).
