Collignon running for Madison Township Trustee

Bret Collignon is running for township trustee in Madison Township on the Democrat ticket this November.

Collignon
Collignon has lived in Madison Township for the past 26 years. He was born in Jasper to Tony and Donna (Fromme) Collignon, and has three children: Ethan, Brandi, and Alyssa. He attended Vincennes University and Ivy Tech where he earned degrees in plumbing and pipefitting.

He retired from Harrell-Fish, Inc., a mechanical contractor in Bloomington, Indiana, as a job superintendent where I was tasked with employee management, payroll, budgets and time constraints. For the past twelve years, I have been an apprentice instructor for plumbers and pipefitters.

The 53-year-old is active in local community affairs. He is a member of Precious Blood Church, the Dubois County Sportsmen’s Club, Jasper Rifle and Gun Club, Jasper Outdoor Recreation, Dubois County Shooting Sports Instructor Council, Dubois County Wranglers 4-H Horse and Pony Club, Dubois County 4-H shooting Sports Club, Indiana Hunter Education Instructor, and served two terms on Dubois County 4-H Council. In many of these organizations, he has served in leadership positions over the last twenty-nine years.

“I am familiar and comfortable working with county representatives creating budgets and procuring funds,” Collignon stated. “In a past position, twenty-seven percent of the budgeted money was returned to the taxpayers of Dubois County. It is with this knowledge and experience that I ask the residents of Madison Township for their vote this November as our Township Trustee.”
