Collette Porter Kennedy, 70, of Ferdinand, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, in Ferdinand.

Collette was born March 27, 1948, to Bernard P. and Priscilla (Birchler) Porter in Fulda.

Collette retired from the State of Tennessee. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, drawing and painting. She was a member of the Ferdinand Senior Citizens. She was a Reiki Master massage therapist.

Surviving are brothers, Patrick Porter of Newburgh and Charles (Rachel) Porter of Bristow; sisters, Jean  Hay of Austin, Texas, Linda Durcholz and Denise Porter, both of Ferdinand, Joyce (Earl) Parker of Forney, Texas, Judith Stillwell of Evansville, and Debbie (John) Blakey of Gentryville; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She also is survived by her dog, Timmy.

Collette was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann McMahon; and four brothers, Regis, James, Tom and Mike Porter.

Visitation will be held at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11.

Cremation was chosen by Collette.
