Cole Joseph Schepers, 3 1/2 months, passed away at 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.

Cole was born on June 12, 2015 in Jasper, Indiana to Jeremy and Lindsey (Goeppner) Schepers.

He is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Lindsey Schepers of Jasper; one sister, Sophie Schepers of Jasper; maternal grandmother, Sheila Hawkins and husband Blair of Vincennes; maternal grandfather, William Goeppner and wife Twyla of Winslow; paternal grandmother, Tammy Taylor of Loogootee; maternal great-grandparents, Leroy and Joan Goeppner of Jasper and Herschel and Sandy Jones of Otwell; paternal great-grandmother, Carolyn Schepers.

Preceding him in death was his paternal grandfather, Scott Joseph Schepers, and paternal great-grandparents, Francis Schepers, Carolyn Tinkle and Jerry Taylor.

Funeral services for Cole Joseph Schepers will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in Mentor Cemetery in Birdseye, Indiana. Pastor Adam Cissell will officiate.

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
