Clisten E. Ridenour, 79
Clisten E. Ridenour, age 79, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 11:33 p.m., Thursday evening, June 14, 2012 in the Emergency Room of Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
He was born May 18, 1933 in Mifflin, Indiana to Jess and Mamie (Knight) Ridenour. He was married to Joy E. Belcher on August 17, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana.
Clisten was employed by and also retired from Jasper Rubber Products. After his retirement, he decided to go back to work as a maintenance worker at Patoka Lake where he was employed for twelve years.
Clisten was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps; was a member of the Eckerty Masonic Lodge #719 F&AM; attended Highfill Chapel Church at Taswell; and enjoyed card playing, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one sister, Trillis Eastridge; and one brother, Kippy Ridenour.
He is survived by:

and (7) grandchildren.
Funeral services for Clisten E. Ridenour will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. The Rev. David Eastridge will officiate the services. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-8:00 p.m., Monday. A Masonic memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday evening, at the funeral home.
