Cleo L. Mundy, 90

Cleo L. Mundy, age 90, of Huntingburg, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012 at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born June 24, 1922 in St. Henry, Indiana to John and Mathilda (Edele) Jochem. She was united in marriage to Cletus Mundy on November 22, 1945.

Cleo was a homemaker and had worked at General Electric in Huntingburg prior to the company moving to Tell City. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg and St. Mary’s Ladies Sodality.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Cletus Mundy, who passed away August 20, 1997; one brother, Gilbert Jochem; and one sister, Cyrilla Miller.

She is survived by:

One sister, Rose Marie Brosmer – Jasper, IN

by nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces & nephews.

Funeral services for Cleo L. Mundy will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery (Huntingburg).

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 8:00-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, the morning of the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
