Claudia Fisher, 81, French Lick

Claudia Fisher, 81, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at her home.

She was born in Gary on March 7, 1937 to Claude Drake and Helen (Rimmel) Drake.

Claudia married E. Harry Fisher on Sept. 8, 1956, and he preceded her in death Dec. 26, 1998.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Drake Owen.

She is survived by two sons, Brian Fisher (Tammy) of New Paris, Ohio and Barry Fisher (Michael) of Greencastle; a daughter, Beth (Fisher) Cattoi (Chuck) of Dubois; two brothers, David Drake (Chris) of Huntingburg and Dennis Drake (Linda) of Santa Claus; a brother-in-law, Willard Owen of French Lick; six grandchildren, Jennifer Stigers, Jason Fisher, Benjamin Fisher, S. Grace Fisher, Aldo Cattoi and Charles J. “CJ” Cattoi; one great-grandchild, Davis Fisher; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father Benjamin Syberg at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, French Lick, with burial following at Ames Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday, May 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel, French Lick.
