City flag lowered to honor former councilman

The City of Jasper’s flag will be flown at half-staff in memory of former City Councilman Leroy J. Schroeder.

The flag will be lowered Sunday, September 11 and remain lowered until September 12.

Note that due to Patriot’s Day observation on Sunday, September 11, all United States, State of Indiana and City flags will be at half-staff at municipal facilities.  The city flag only at City Hall will remain at half-staff in honor of Mr. Schroeder on Monday.
