Christopher “Charlie” Mathias, 35, Huntingburg

Christopher “Charlie” Mathias, 35, of Huntingburg, passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020, in Evansville.

He was born March 18, 1985, in Huntingburg to Robert “Doug” and Anne Mathias. 

Charlie was a 2004 graduate of Southridge High School. He loved fishing, hunting, arrowhead and mushroom hunting and listening to music. 

He was preceded in death by three grandparents, David Leon Mathias, Richard Bugg and Marilyn Mullen.

He is survived by his parents, Doug and Anne Mathias of Huntingburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Corey (Erin) Mathias of Summerville, S.C.; three grandparents, Jim and Joyce Lawrence of Huntingburg and Glenda Evans of Mint Hill, N.C.; two nieces, one nephew and several cousins.

Funeral services for Christopher “Charlie” Mathias will be held at noon ET on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Huntingburg.  Reverend William Covey will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday the day of the service.
