Christmas tree disposal

Huntingburg tree pickup begins Thursday and continues through Friday, Jan. 11. Residents should place the trees at the curb and call City Hall at 683-2211 for pickup. The trees also can be taken to the street department’s First Street lot.

Jasper is collecting trees. Residents living on 13th Street and south can have their trees picked up Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Homes north of 13th Street will be picked up on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Ferdinand is collecting trees now until Friday Jan. 11.  If residents leave their tree at the curb on their regular pickup day the town will return to pick it up. Trees can also be dropped off at the West 23rd Street complex Monday through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Holland residents can make arrangements to take trees to town’s site at County Road 750 West by calling Town Hall at 536-3640.
