Christmas Tree disposal options

Plans for Christmas tree disposal have been put in place around the county.

Jasper residents can place their trees curbside for disposal on their regular rubbish pickup days. Residents can also bring their trees to the Street Department on Clay Street.

Huntingburg’s street department will pick up Christmas trees for Huntingburg residents on Fridays, January 5, January 12 and January 19. Christmas trees must be placed near the curb. Please call City Hall at 812-683-2211 and leave your street address by Wednesday, January 17.

Ferdinand residents can take their trees to the town’s West 23rd Street Complex at the intersection of West 23rd Street and the town’s Industrial Bypass.

Holland residents can drop off their trees at the wastewater lagoon site located on County Road 900S.
