Christian Church of Jasper hosting special prom through Tim Tebow Foundation
The Christian Church of Jasper is hosting an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs.
The church is one of 100s around the world hosting Night To Shine — sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation — simultaneously, on Friday, February 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. Night To Shine is a prom night experience centered around God’s love for people with special needs, ages 16 and older.
Before the night begins, guests will receive VIP treatment including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, corsages, and boutenniers.
Every guest of Night To Shine will enter their prom on a red carpet via a limo ride, complete with welcoming, friendly paparazzi. There will be karaoke, a photo booth, catered meal, and dancing. We are very excited to get to be a part of such a great event.
To register a participant, print a copy of the registration form HERE.
There are many roles that need to be filled for volunteers at Night to Shine. Specific responsibilities will be assigned on a later date.
A volunteer meeting that outlines guidelines for the evening and details specific duties will be conducted on a date closer to the event.
To ensure volunteers comply with the foundation’s guidelines, all volunteers are required to provide a background check. If you have a valid background check available (through an employer or other source, conducted in the past three years or less) you may provide it rather than paying for a new one.
If you wish to volunteer and do not have a current background check, CCJ will run one for you for a $15 fee. Paperwork will be mailed to you, and should be delivered to the CCJ office promptly.
